What Changes for an Amazon Seller in 2026
Two things moved in 2026 and both push work back onto the seller. Amazon ended its US FBA prep and item labelling services on 1 January, so unprepared units are refused rather than fixed for a fee. And inbound placement fees continue to reward shipments split across multiple fulfilment centres over single-destination ones.
Prep is now inbound, not optional
Every unit needs its FNSKU on a flat surface, other barcodes covered, and whatever bag or wrap its category requires — before it ships. We do that at $0.69–$2.00 per unit by monthly volume, labelling included.
Splitting shipments is a real lever
Placement fees fall when you send to the fulfilment centres Amazon nominates rather than consolidating. We build and label the split cartons; you decide whether the freight cost of splitting beats the fee. Our placement fee guide works the trade-off through.
Capacity limits reward holding stock outside FBA
IPI-driven storage limits mean sending everything to Amazon is no longer safe. Holding buffer stock with us and replenishing on demand keeps your FBA footprint small and your listings in stock.
Returns do not come back to FBA
Amazon returns go to your removal address, not back into your FBA inventory automatically. Ours is a US address that receives, grades and either restocks or disposes at $5.00 per unit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I still need FBA prep now that Amazon stopped offering it?
Yes — that is precisely why. Amazon ended its US FBA prep and item labelling services on 1 January 2026, so unprepared units are refused rather than corrected for a fee. Prep runs $0.69–$2.00 per unit by monthly volume with labelling included.
Do you have a minimum order volume?
No. There is no minimum, no setup fee and no long-term contract. Sellers start with a hundred units and scale from there.
How quickly is inventory logged after it arrives?
Within 24 hours. Arrivals are photographed, counted against your packing list and posted to your dashboard, with any discrepancy reported the same business day.
What does it cost to send inventory to you?
Carton and parcel receiving is free, including logging and quantity verification. Pallet receiving is $25.00 per pallet and container unloading is quoted case by case.
Do I need to be a US company?
No. We work with sellers based inside and outside the United States. What matters is that you sell into the US market.
Can you handle more than one sales channel from the same stock?
Yes, and that is usually the reason to use us. One pool serves Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, Etsy and WooCommerce, so you buy safety stock once rather than once per channel.
