What Is 3PL Fulfillment?

3PL (Third-Party Logistics) means outsourcing your warehousing, pick-pack-ship, and returns operations to a specialized logistics provider. Instead of managing your own warehouse, you ship your inventory to us — we handle everything from receipt to final-mile delivery. QuickShipment's Delaware 3PL serves sellers on every major platform: Amazon FBM, Shopify DTC, eBay, Walmart, Etsy, WooCommerce, and custom order management systems.

Our 3PL Services

Standard 3PL at QuickShipment includes: inventory receiving and logging, real-time dashboard access, pick, pack, and ship within 24 hours of order receipt, carrier-rate-negotiated shipping via FedEx, UPS, and USPS, branded packaging and inserts (your materials), returns processing, and multi-channel order sync. There are no setup fees, no minimum order quantities, and no long-term contracts.

Integrations

Connect your store in under 15 minutes. We support direct integrations with Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, Etsy, and WooCommerce. Orders sync automatically — no manual processing or CSV uploads required.

Pick and Pack Pricing — By Billable Weight

We price per order, not per unit, because the work is picking and packing an order regardless of what is in it. Weight bands:

Billable weightPrice
0 – 1.00 lb$3.00 / order
1.01 – 10.00 lb$5.00 / order
10.01 – 25.00 lb$7.50 / order
25.01 – 50.00 lb$10.00 / order
50.01 lb and aboveCustom quote
Additional item in the same order+$0.75 / item

Billable weight is the greater of actual and dimensional weight. A light but bulky item bills on its volume, which surprises sellers who priced on the scale reading alone. If your product is large and light, ask us to check which figure applies before you model your costs.

The additional-item charge covers a real cost that per-order pricing alone hides: walking to a second location, finding a second SKU, verifying it. A one-item order and an eight-item order take very different amounts of time even at the same weight.

What Happens to an Order

  1. Order lands — pulled automatically from your store or marketplace, no manual export.
  2. Pick — units located and verified against the order.
  3. Pack — appropriate box or mailer, void fill, any branded materials you have specified.
  4. Label and dispatch — carrier label applied, tracking pushed back to your platform.
  5. Sync — inventory levels updated so you stop selling what is no longer there.

Step five is where cheap integrations fail. Overselling costs more in cancellations and damaged metrics than the fulfilment fee ever will — and on marketplaces it feeds directly into the cancellation rates that determine your account health.

Multi-Channel Is the Point

The strongest argument for a 3PL is not price per order. It is holding one inventory pool instead of several.

A seller running Amazon FBA, a Shopify store and a Walmart listing typically holds three separate buffers: stock in FBA, stock for DTC, stock for Walmart. Each buffer is capital, and they cannot help each other. You run out on one channel while sitting on surplus for another.

One pool in a 3PL replenishes FBA, ships DTC orders and covers marketplace orders from the same shelf. You hold one buffer, and you can move units toward whichever channel is actually selling this month.

Integrations

We connect to Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, Etsy and WooCommerce. Integration and the inventory dashboard are included — no setup fee, no per-connection charge.

Before you move stock, ask any prospective 3PL to demonstrate four things: automatic order pull, tracking pushed back to the platform, live inventory sync, and correct handling of partial and split shipments. All four matter, and the third is where most problems start.

Where We Sit and Why It Matters

Claymont, Delaware is inside the East Coast corridor — two to three day ground transit reaches most of the US population. That is what makes competitive delivery promises affordable without paying for air freight.

Delaware also charges no state sales tax, so inventory purchased into and shipped from our warehouse is bought in a 0% state. That is separate from import duty, which is federal and applies wherever your warehouse is.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does 3PL fulfillment cost?
Pick and pack starts at $3.00 per order for 0–1 lb, rising to $10.00 for 25–50 lb. Additional items in the same order are $0.75 each. Storage is billed separately from $5.00 per pallet per day, tiered down to $2.00.

What is billable weight?
The greater of actual weight and dimensional weight. Large, light items usually bill on volume rather than on the scale reading.

Can one 3PL serve Amazon FBA and my own store?
Yes, and it is the main reason to use one. A single inventory pool replenishes FBA and ships DTC orders, so you hold one safety stock instead of several.

Which platforms do you integrate with?
Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, Etsy and WooCommerce. Integration and the dashboard are included at no charge.

Is there a minimum order volume?
No. There are no minimums, no setup fees and no long-term contracts.
