What the Warehouse Actually Is

Most 3PL pages describe services. This one describes the building, because when you hand someone your inventory the physical answer matters more than the feature list.

Our facility is at 950 Ridge Rd, Suite D11, Claymont, Delaware 19703 — a single site on the I-95 corridor, roughly twenty minutes south of Philadelphia and an hour north of Baltimore. It is monitored and racked for standard 48 × 40 inch pallets stacked to about 60 inches. It is an ambient warehouse: there is no heating, cooling, humidity control or cold-chain capability. Warehouse hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET; office and support run to 6:00 PM.

We say ambient plainly because it decides what we can take. Dry, shelf-stable goods — consumer products, packaging, electronics in retail boxes, apparel — are what the building is built for. Anything that needs a guaranteed temperature or humidity range does not belong here, and it is on our restricted list rather than buried in a contract.

What Happens Between the Truck and the Dashboard

Receiving is where most inventory problems are either caught or created, so here is the sequence:

  1. Arrival logged. Carrier, reference, carton or pallet count recorded before anything is opened.
  2. Photographed on the pallet. Before the shrink wrap comes off, so damage in transit is distinguishable from damage in handling.
  3. Counted against the packing list. Any discrepancy is reported to you the same business day. We do not adjust silently and reconcile later.
  4. Condition checked. Crushed cartons, water marks, broken seals — flagged with photographs attached to the record.
  5. Put away and posted. Location assigned, quantities posted to your dashboard within 24 hours of arrival.

Carton and parcel receiving is free. Pallet receiving is $25.00 per pallet, because a pallet needs a forklift and a dock rather than a pair of hands. Container unloading is quoted case by case.

Inventory Accuracy — What We Do and What We Do Not Claim

Every unit has a location and every movement is posted. You see counts live rather than in a weekly report. What we will not do is claim a perfect accuracy figure: any warehouse that quotes one is quoting an average across a period, and the number that matters to you is whether a discrepancy on your SKU gets found and reported.

Ours get found at two points — at receiving, where the count is reconciled against the packing list, and at pick, where a short location is flagged rather than silently substituted. If a count is wrong, you hear about it from us before you notice it in a stockout.

Outbound: Channels, Cut-Offs and Weight

Orders arrive from Amazon FBM, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, Etsy and WooCommerce through direct integration, and tracking is posted back to the channel automatically. Orders received before the daily cut-off are picked the same business day; anything after it moves to the next.

Pick and pack is priced per order by billable weight — the greater of actual and dimensional weight — starting at $3.00 for orders up to 1 lb and rising to $10.00 for 25–50 lb. Additional items in the same order are $0.75 each, because a second SKU means a second walk to a second location. Light but bulky products are usually billed on dimensional weight, which surprises sellers who priced from the scale.

Billable weightPer order
0 – 1.00 lb$3.00
1.01 – 10.00 lb$5.00
10.01 – 25.00 lb$7.50
25.01 – 50.00 lb$10.00

Storage Inside the Same Building

Pallet storage is billed daily from $5.00, tiering down to $2.00 — each band charged at its own rate, so the total never falls as you add pallets. Carton and shelf storage is $5.00 per cubic foot per month for smaller volumes, with the crossover to pallets at roughly 30 cubic feet. The sizing guide works that decision through and the calculator runs your own numbers.

How This Page Differs from Our Others

This page is the building and the operation. 3PL fulfilment covers the commercial argument — why a single stock pool beats three separate buffers. Storage covers rates and inclusions. Ecommerce fulfilment covers the DTC side.
